Xbox 360 Query?

C'mon then nerds,

If i wanted to create a new profile on the xbox, would i have to purchase my gold membership again? or could i swap it over to the new profile?

And can i transfer my game saves over to the new profile?

yeah if you have 2 profiles they both need the gold membership to work on live,

if you just wanted to change your gamertag you can do for 800 microsoft points

also you cant transfer your gamerpoints and saves from one gamertag to the other

Just change your name thats what i did

800 points = about £7

I think if i am not mistaken that if you get enough people to sumbit bad player reviews microsoft make you change your name.

Yeah but if i created another profile would i have to purchase my 12 month gold membership again or could i just transfer it over to the new profile? Sorry im abit of a noob to all this.

why not just use the microsoft points to change your name, why need a new profile ?

you want to change your name (i guess this is why you want a new profile ?)

dont think you can transfer gold membership to another profile

Why need a new profile? Because my dad wants to use it, because he likes Halo 3, but he likes to play online and solo..........and i dont want him overwriting my data basically.

Could you just create a new profile without going live? Because he could just play live on my profile thinking about it...

He only wants to play Halo 3 occasionly, he uses his PS3 for most online gaming, COD4 etc.
