Made a start on the brembo's, i have a revuild kit ill be doing so dont worry about the spray on the seals etc ive got new nipples seals etc.
Paint stripped twice brembo's have some strong as shit paint , sanded , high temp prinered, then red oxide primered abd then colour, i ran out of colour today so ordered some more to do them again, then its brembo stickers and laquer.
Wont be as good as powder coating but for a home job for less than 50 quid im pleased

Looking great. Loving all your colour matching to the car. I might match my calipers to the cars colour! (Even though they are just standard ones!)

Excellent calliper refurbishment work...top marks. What car are the callipers from and do you have to run a minimum of 15" rims to get the required clearance?

Cheers lads! I like the colour alot and thought it would look sort of oem+ rather than over the top if that makes sense aha, yeh do it man amazon green is wicked, company called clear coats on ebay mixes the paint for me and its a perfect match for 15 quid a can which isnt bad!
Theyre 406 3.0 v6 brembo's bud, you would have to have 15's and spacers if running high offset wheels like standard vts wheels. You also have to run a gti6 master cylinder and gti6 brake discs and custom braided lines from spoox motorsport all of which i have but yet to fit

So far so good bud ive tinkered over the years, and my mates help me where possible, whole reason i bought the car was to learn a few more things and just enjoy the progress as much as driving it, definitely recommend it to anyone

So after weeks of cold weather it warmed up enough today for me to finish off the painting part of the brembo's , not perfect but behind the wheel they should look decent! Will have to do for a rattle can job
