Using 2 Routers/Modems..
I play on my PS3 quite often, and i play off a wireless Router; however I sometimes have a poor connection. How would my connection be if i were to put another router on the same phone line and run my ps3 off that?

This does depend, is the poor connection due to the router or the actual broadband connection?

Im not too sure. At times there are 4 laptops, XBOX 360 and 2 PS3's running off one router. Very rarely are they all on at the same time though, Mainly the laptops at the same time.

Do you know what connection you have? IE Speed and Supplier?
Chances are the router isn't being throttled at all, a wireless router can handle around 50+ connections (I forget the exact figure)
If you're torrenting or doing anything other than normal web browsing then that will be the cause of the high latency for the PS3

you're always going to get dodgy latency from a wireless connection - I had similar issues with my xbox yonks ago. What I did was grab a spare router I had lying around and changed a setting in the system prefs to make it into a 'switch'. I then routed a cable from the main router downstairs to my room, where I had the new switch/router placed. Then connected all my gear to the switch.
With that I had a wired connection and latency issues are no more!

is the router one you bought or was it supplied by your broadband provider?
if its one you bought, you should be able to log onto the routers internal software so that you can forward the ports the playstation network uses.
google portforwarding playstation 3 and this should get you the ports that need forwarding.
once this is done, the routers inbuilt firewall won't block these ports so you should then have no problems.
