Anyone any good with Microsoft Access.

I have a list of dates that I want to use as filters on a form but only by month and year. I have used the format function in a query to get the dates in the correct format but I am having trouble when grouping them.

Grouping them will only select one value from the list to group by

e.g.

01/12/2011 format([Date],"mmm yyyy")
09/12/2011 format([Date],"mmm yyyy")

When grouping because the format is the same for both it just chooses the first value and when filtering on my form it is then looking for 01/12/2011 specifically as opposed to all within the September date range.

Any help with this would be appreciated
