Best Tv for around the £250 mark

After a new Tv for the bedroom, Price range around the £250 pound mark. I haven't got a clue about all this 720p/1080p , HD this plasma that stuff. So help me out please.

- Will be mainly used for Xbox
- Rather have better picture than size
- I have got sky in there but not HD

Errrmmm that's about it ...

Oh and preferable from a shop where i can pick it up

Sainsburys has been selling Sharp 32" full HDTVs for a couple of weeks now, at £200 each, and ASDA had similar stuff on offer.

difference between HD ready and full HD

Screen resolution. Hd ready is up to 720p resolution when full HD is 1080p. Can't be arsed to go in full detail, a google search will cover that.
