Cheers lads. we'll see about the performance jamie... But so far since the ecu reset it's starting to improve a bit - I think I've over oiled it a touch as well so I might need to lob it off and attack it again with some better cleaning. At the same time it's still sucking in mucky air from the engine bay so there is some margin for improvements further still.

There's nothing overtly special about it so far to be honest dude... the noise is fantastic though. But I'll keep you updated

Anyway, fucking thing is going in to a Citroen garage (blank cheque at standby) for flickery battery light to be investigated. I'll go ballistic if the bloody alternator has gone again...

Looked better when fitted to your crotch dude if Im honest! But as others have said as long as it performs well..
Is that a good place to have the breather filter pointing BTW dude? Catch tank to keep it nice and neat perhaps?
Otherwise looks as great as ever.

flickering battery light sounds like the lead from alternator to starter motor has corroded at one of the terminals.
Either put a new terminal on it, or if the corrosion has really attacked the wire, I'd pull the loom out, pull the bad wire out and replace it wit ha new one.
Don't let Citroen try and sell you a new loom !

haha... Cheers man! Erm, not honestly sure about the breather filter... I just bunged it on and hoping for the best. I'm not even sure how much muck comes out of the pipe tbh!

Noted! It's with them at the moment, so I'll see what they come back with... I've no intention of getting them to do any work on it... I just cannot be faffed with car electrics in the slightest So hopefully they're find the prob and then I can bosh on a new alternator/loom whatever
Thanks man! Oh we need to sort out this 5th Gear milarky...

Right then... lovely weather so cleaned the car today... so pic...
Took the intake plenum out and gave that a clean and gave the throttle body a good'n too.
decatted it earlier in the week - popopopopopopopperdypop
Earlier in the week I spoke to ITG because I really wasn't happy about having the maxogen gobbling air from the engine bay. Turns out I've got a kit from a ZR160, which has the same carbon intake at the VTS, but different inlet throat and silicone hose. ITG were excellent about it about it. SO... new throat on the way and new single piece hose is a comeeeinngggg. That'll make the intake about as perfect as you can for a single body. whhhoooppaaa
I've bought some more Michelin Pilots for the rear, these have lasted 23k on this car, 40k on the 1.5D and about 15k from the original VTS they came from... fucking amazing. Getting those done Monday.
erm that's about it tbh

Show off!
Ads, did you Morettes fit straight on with no problems? My o/s one 'fits' but isnt flush, looks like it might need a spacer underneath it to bring it in line with the wing.

Those pilots are a very long lasting tyre. Did the sidewall/inbetween the tread block start cracking? Purely with the age of the tyre.

Do this give good grip as well as last forever? I think I need to invest in some for the VTS once the current ones are knackered
What are they like it the wet? Do they grip still or do you end up aquaplaning everywhere?
