Broadband Reccomendations
Just had a call from my ISP O2 to say Im being cut off in 4 weeks as I have gone over 50GB download in a month for the second time, even though the service is called 'unlimited' !
Load of bollocks but i'm not being charged with any fees so not going to fight it. Was about £25 a month iirc.
Now looking for a new one, anyone got any reccomendations, looking for something cheap that offers the most download usage.

Sky do a truly unlimited package apparently. I'm with BT and their limit is 100gb after they cap you at 1mb at peak teams and after 3 months charge you for extra usage. I work for them and get it as a freebie - they tried to charge me for excess usage and I pointed out that its a staff freebie benefit, they then admitted they couldn't charge me extra

Thanks for posting in the correct section
BE are a good company
PS I love people who say I'm on Virgin Media 50mb it's great, Fibre Optic too.
1) It isn't Fibre Optic, it is Fibre optic under the roads but to your house it is a Coaxial cable.
2) Go over your "fair usage policy" once in a month then you should expect speeds or around 2-5mb during peak times.

Yeah out of all the ones ive had a look at yesterday, BE seems to be the best. Its actually cheaper than the shitty o2 deal im on and it does say unlimited. Ive contacted them just to get confirmination that it really is unlimited, if it is ill be going with them. So cheers for that.
