Internet suddenly slow
I have noticed my internet is being really slow all of a sudden, normally it's really quick, trying to watch video's on youtube and they won't even play. Getting really frustrated now as you can imagine.
Even stuff on 4od and Iplayer won't play and that doesn't even have to stream...
Any solutions?

Unplug your router, then plug it in after a little bit.
Maybe virus check you PC.
Call your ISP to see if its a problem on their end!
what do you mean "doesn't even have to stream"?
If you mean you download it, then play it, then it must be a problem with your PC (the slow video playback any way.)

go to www.speedtest.net and run a speed test using the recommended location and post your result.
Also if you know how, log in to your router and post the connection information.
Any increased noise or crackling when using the phone line ?

I turned the router off and back on and it seems to be back to normal now, playing video's etc.
Thought I'd upload this anyway, don't know wether it's good/bad, don't understand it lol

Sppedtest.net is usually fairly accurate and overall that is a good connection and a decent speed. You shouldn't have any issues streaming with that.

DNS server issues don't show up on Speedtests mate.
DNS server is what physically takes your connection from the phone exchange to the server running a website for example.
If DNS server is running slow the speed of your broadband line is irrelevant and depending on what you are connecting to some sites could be faster or slower, or not work at all.
BE's DNS servers (who I am with) are made of cheese and regularly fuck up
