computer fags
cant hear any music etc from youtube
plays..but no sound
can hear FB notification beep...
can also hear music saved on computer..played through media player etc..
com did spaz out the other day..but otherwise fine..cant find any virus..have refreshed and deleted cookies etc

Sounds silly but check that youtube vids aren't on mute? Occassionally they do that for no reason.

check non are muted in there..

although FB sounds do work

Hi try another browser mate if you are using Internet Explorer try Firefox or Google Chrome etc and see if its any better

It's a problem relating to google chrome, I'm suspecting it's to do with the java involved. Only fix is closing your browser and opening a new one

Youtube uses html5 or flash these days, not java. Try firefox, if it persists then update/uninstall flash player. Definately not driver/hardware if other sounds are played

been the same for about 4/5 days now jay
sure it did it a while back as its my lass' old com
cant remember what i did to solve it, although i did have to reinstall everything after crashing it because she had that much shit and about 1500 viruses on it :/

Did you try the link on my post? The only other option is to find the last version of flash on adobes website and uninstall the new one

tried a clean install of flash yet? get it uninstalled and i'm sure you can find an older version online to try?
