look elsewhere. Bell.com admiral quinn direct elephant
you shouldn't be paying anywhere near that much. my bro's was high on his 1.2 punto sporting, and that was only like £1.7k... he's just turned 18, but no ncb, and only just passed, your quote is ridiculous.

My parents never did let me go on their insurance, so I had to pay out for all the three cars I've owned, as well as buying all my driving lessons; £1300 on my first car, £1000 on my second card, and £850 on my most recent car. I'm praying it's a lot cheaper this year when I renew.

Insurance companies do consider a lot of things when quoting you; area you live in, gender, years your license has been held, garaged or not, mileage etc. Shopping around is really the only way to get the best quote and even after all the shopping around, us young drivers still have the short straw.

Saves shite loads of money, insurance is a friggin joke! I still pay about £1200

im on my mums policy atm. this is the reason for not many mods atm

as soon as i can afford my own insurance it will go in my own name

need a job 1st tho

but my mum does use it more than i do

takes it to work and she goes horse riding 5 times a week also so she takes it up there

i use it at weekends mainly (sometimes during week if im going somewhere)

I have abit of a problem though.. currently the cars in my dads names and so's the insurance policy with me as a named driver as he does drive it as well.
However.. im moving to Portsmouth on Saturday and have to get a parking permit and for this the car has to be registered to me and the new house im living in. Think id be ok with me as the registered owner but him as policy holder? Im with Quinn as well!
