Featured progress threads where nobody is allowed to post.

Basically the only person allowed to post updates is the user whos thread it is. Stops the threads worth reading being 50+ pages and having to trawl through to find any info on spec or pictures. Still have a thread in the normal section for peoples feedback etc. Seen it implemented with deans (saxmad88 on here) crazy turbo build and think it works well. Just my 2p's worth.

Or people could take the time to strutcture their progress thread properly, if I have to scroll through pages to find information then I don't even bother looking at peoples progres.

would only be a sub section in the photos videos bit, cant imagine it would be too much hassle to sort. all i mean is that all the decent threads worth reading would be listed together instead of going through pages and pages.

On this forum here, I think they have a great idea.

If you go to the Progress Logs section, and go on a topic, at the thread options, you can choose to remove all posts from other members that is not the OP. So therefore you can look through all the progress straight after each other.

Like the look of the blogs simo just i feel a little sub section where threads are locked to just the user who's thread it is wouldnt go a miss. As paul said in the thread in general chat its just the norm to click the photos videos on the main forum.
