I have pay as you go simcard so edge isnt set up yet anyway. not a real problem though as I never go to use it.

Not if you know the right people. I was offered them at £40 IIRC.
however saying that MOQ was probably a few hundred.
I will have a fiddle later, need to log on wifi and install SMSD then will check out the themes.

Like i was saying no UK supplier atm. All from japan and US. Works out about 80-100 pounds.

1.1.2 UK iphones can only be jailbreaked.....not unlocked....
So you can only use an 02 sim.....you could always buy a US one off ebay with 1.1.1 firmware and use any sim....its what I did....and then just update to 1.1.2 firmware.......easy

These now go for around £400 as US now sell 1.1.2 which cannot be unlocked also.
Give it a month or two and the fully unlocked iPhones will be as rare as rocking horse shit.

Just fancy one but I have like 7 months left on my VodaMcFone contract on my gay U600 with a cracked screen.

Because 1.1.1 iPhones runs with a bootloader 3.9 which can be unlocked....
The out of the box 1.1.2 runs with a 4.2 bootloader which apple have made so hard to hack to unlock.....it can only be jailbroke to let you install 3rd party apps.....
I have no idea what a boot loader is.......
