saxo vts
need bit of help / advice
im looking for a bigger radiator + fan cooling system for my saxo vts turbo
sturggle to keep the temp down whilst giving it some is there any where you can get a bigger rad + fan

some people buy the twin cooloing fan kit, (dont know where you buy it from),
i suppose you can buy a standard one from scrapies/breakers and wire it into the original one, but dont hold me to that.

GMC do a very nice rad and intercooler combo. Not cheap at £1000 but possibly the best of both you will ever find

yes mate was thinking about that was gunna get 1 from a breakers and make 2 fans to blow onto the rad
was hoping to get a bigger rad or some kind of bigger uprated type of thing

you can get a nessan (sp) one that is slightly bigger but the pipes inside are also bigger aswell iirc

a few people with charged vts's use 106 deisel rads, never realy looked at a 106 deisel rad myself so dont know the size differences but have a search might find more info on it

This Nissens rads are supposed to be a lot more efficient at cooling, or alternatively the ones GMC sell is a PACE unit (to match their PACE intercooler). As said, it's not cheap at nearly £450 a piece though!
You could easily add a second fan to what you've got - maybe just hook the second fan up to a switch on the dash to save worrying about wiring?
