3k
3.5k

Just knocked up a quick first draft of the excel sheet...
Currently gives optimum shift changes for max accel.

was gonna ask actually... gonna have to estimate and interpolate the graph though (it's not level so can use the rulers in PS like I did for Deans)
just need wheel dimensions and gearbox ratio's (inc final drive)
and I'll knock it up for you now
warning though this is first draft... I'm going to tweak it further to include acceleration rates, then inc shift duration too and so on and so on.

good news...!
changing just before twating it off the limiter (if it even has one ) will give you a.max

i dont know if ive ever been on the limiter. Alex set it quite high on the emerald, iirc hard cut is 8.5ish now, ian used to have it lower.
would 9k give better accel lol!
Basically my driving it like I stole it method is the best then

looking at shift change graph there is mucho room to keep the rpm as high as possible.
the RR doesn't help because the torque isn't falling away exponentially... although looking at it, its probably just after 8500rpm
but the reduction in torque between each gear is so significant that you could go deep into the 8's (8700+) and still have better a.max than shifting.
