Making new fowk aware of the FAQ and sticky's
Everyone's a noob at some point but if they were to have to read/look through or be at least aware of the FAQ section/stickies before their let loose on the forum, then it would probably save a lot of regular users the hassle of seeing the same questions over and over.
The likes of Scotts' compilation of common questions in the engine/performance sub forum is a great idea but im not sure that fowk are really aware of it being there. Likewise for other stickies at the top of sub forums

you can point an animal in the direction of water, but it still might not drink it.
A blind fool, will allways be a blind fool sadly.

As Ryan says..........people will not spend the time reading the rules...would be good if they did though just so i didnt get the daily messages about avatars, signatures, and the for sale section.
A mint example was just the other day when i was asked a common question......i told the user to read the stickies in that section..........they replied "what are the stickies???"
I cryed!

I think an IQ test would be beneficial.
If you fail, you dont get access to Sax-P, you get auto-directed to 106owners instead
