i bought a ecu of (ashie695) vts/gti single plug unlocked and superchiped so he says. but i plug it in didnt work!!! pluged my mates in (unlocked) ecu and worked fine does this mean its locked as payed £90 for it and really fucked off!

hows the new one unlocked and hows your mates unlocked? have you removed your immobiliser box?
if your mates was unlocked by removing a pin, and the one you bought was unlocked by removing the immobiliser box from a running car then you could have locked the new one by leaving your immobiliser box in

Erm personally don't buy from someone who says an ecu is 'superchipped' and yeah it sounds like you got a bog standard locked ecu.

no ive removed the immobiliser box before pluging in and new one in nothing pluged mate in started fine mate was unlocked by removing immobiliser. new one the same so he says!!
