What aload of bullshit!
He has been found out and is back pedaling as quick as he can
Hopefully everyone gets refunded from this dick head, seriously why would someone use his account to sell an iPhone, but put up his own paypal address? They would use his account on here to advertise, but then stick their own Paypal account on so they recieve the money
What a fanny, caught red handed
Just so you know Tom Wynne, i contacted your former employer on the phone and he has dished the dirt on you, you are a slimey bastard and you are already in trouble with the police, i know everything but i wont repeat it, so stop lying, and get everyone refunded
Then once you've refunded everyone can you do one last thing.....could you please FUCK OFF AND DIE, you absolute TWAT!

Over at Clio Sport he's saying that he's gonna refund all the money.... but hasn't. He says he can't refund it as it is frozen due to the disputes.
However, one way to settle disputes on paypal is TO REFUND THE MONEY. Also, he gave like 3 different emails to send money to. So, he has 3 paypal accounts, all of which were hacked, and all of which he now has access to to refund the money, all of which are locked?
The guy that bank transferred the money to him is apparently getting his money back when he 'goes to the bank tomorrow'. No internet banking in his world then. The sort code is to a bank in Liverpool though, but he could have moved since opening the account.
Basically, by stringing along the CS guys he's buying more time. All well gash.

That sound like I think you have to go to the opening branch to do stuff. I meant... doesn't prove its where he lives.

I'm one of the guys thats been done by this scumbag over on cliosport. He is saying now that paypal won't allow him to refund the money as paypal have held the funds and he has no funds in his paypal balance to use. If he has managed to transfer all of the money out of his paypal account or spent it online, how will paypal be able to return all of the money to me? After reading up about the paypal refund process online it does seem that the seller needs to have sufficient funds in his paypal account to make a refund, failing that he needs to add funds from a bank account which takes several days. I have also asked that he makes a personal paypal payment to me as a way of a refund seeing as using the proper refund facility requires available funds in his account. Any help would be appreciated?

even if he has taken the money out of his paypal or spent it you can still get it back. (unless you sent it as a gift)
If he has a balance of £0.00 and say 5 people have put claims in for £200 each, when he nexts logs into paypal he will see his balance will be -£1000.
Which he then owes paypal, if he doesnt pay it they will take it from the bank accounts he has linked to it.

Phoned paypal yesterday and they said they can't do anything now until the 10 days elapses on the dispute when they will attempt to return funds to me should the seller not respond or process the refund. How did he sort out the refunds to the people on here? Was it through the paypal refund process as part of a dispute?

Got me too.
In the same situation as JoshE above!
Paypal dispute, got to wait 10 days to get a possible refund, if he has the funds.
Phoned my bank and they said they cant do anything until after its gone out.
What would people recommend now?
Cheers

sad thing about paypal refund is that if theres no money in the account (eg hes already transferred to bank) even when he refunds the money it takes 5-7 days as its got to be retrieved from his bank account
so even if he refunds today its gonna be min next fri before it shows in your paypal, unless hes still got money n there in which case it will be instant
dont worry if youve paid in the correct way, youll get your money back, could take up to a month though

paypal like holding money when it comes to claims, the nice bits of interest they earn on it.
Sadly they are arseholes like that.
Good to see lots of updates, will make sure this thread remains open for a while so hopefully all can post/try to recover lost funds
