Fed up of people stereotyping modified cars
Have noticed that more and more people are labeling modified cars as "chav" "shit" "rubbish".. I speak from personal experiance where my cars have been slated
A) there is a difference between chav and modified..
B) what might be shit in your opinion is excelent to another person
C) even those who hate modified cars, must see one at somepoint and like it.
Does anyone on here have the same problem or share the same views.....

I know, but when you spend hours of your time putting hard effort into your cars, and investing hard earned cash into it.. some one comes along and says its a chav car, looks shit.. then you look at there car and its a corsa B 1.2 8v..
It just annoys me.
Plus whos more likely to crash..
A shit box corsa with a moron behind the wheel or someone who cares for there car and invests in it...

If someone did this to me I would not hesitate to smash them in the face.
But tbh my car does not look shit
My head could not be bigger on this subject.

Think of it this way... they think you're going to drive like a cock because you drive a saxo, so you might as well.

I think we need pics of your car to judge
The difference between chav and modifyed to me:
Chav - Cheap tat, shop own brands, universal fit, marked up, serves no purpose, half arsley fitted, dosent do what its meant to do
Modifyed - Parts are researched, decent money spent, partts serve a purpose and improve the car, thought has gone into the design
You dont see Astra VXR with seat covers, steering wheel holder pink fluffy thing, seatbelt warmers, bee sting arials, flshing dustcaps and tail pipe extension things. That would be chav, instead theyre modyfied, larger brakes, decent comfortable supporting seats, spoiler for more downforce which is needed etc, you get the idea.

Hate the Haters!
as said above a chav car has cheap crap on it, whereas modified cars have a tonne of money spent on them. resprays are near £2000, interior retrims £1500-4000, and you only buy the best for the car and one that most people never think of is that modiified cars are very well maintained, better maintained than some guy who owns a bmw, he washes it with soapy water and leaves the servicing to the dealer or he skimps on the servicing sometimes.
most of the saxos on here are gleaming, from underneath the car all the way to the engine bay. you dont see that on 5 year old cars.
