Default iphone having a hissy fit

basically this started maybe 3/4 days ago where it would fail to send texts, so i have to turn it off and switch it back on, it'll then send texts again but when it fails to send texts i cant recieve texts either/calls , so i keep having to swtich it on and off to send texts/receive texts !

it can be fine for 10 minutes i'll get texts and reply to them , then all of a sudden it wont send texts so back off and on again!

i googled it and cant seem to find anything about it
its a 3gs

any ideas people?

Don't know if it makes much difference but is it up to date software wise?

This might not be any help, but you say you've turned it off and on again but have you tried that reset thing where you hold both buttons down (top + front) until it goes off

Might be worth a try?

I traded my one in a couple of days ago because I was ready to smash it off a wall.

TBH, I think there a fucking shit phone - well the iPhone 4 is anyways.

My girlfriend's one is constantly deleting her contacts as well so that will be traded in shortly as well

I had a 4 for the last 2 years and never had a problem with it (apart from smashing the front and back glass!) but it manned it pretty well!

I've stuck it on ebay, the smashed ones are still going for around £100

Sometimes mine does the same. I find resetting the network settings (settings menu) clears it up.

Missus phone keeps losing wifi, apple won't replace is either as its a few days out of warranty even though this is the third she's had with this issue from them, and she logged the fault with them months back. Assholes tbh
