Have you got any plans for suspension and braking in the pipeline?
Yeah, brakes and suspension are on "the list" lol. I'm gonna get some berlingo brakes from the scrappies and recon them. Then after my birthday i'm gonna save for a full suspension kit after my exhaust.

Cheers mate, i was thinking 283's but they are properly heavy. The gyro forces on the car are massivly higher under braking. I'm probably gonna go for a 266 setup under vtr alloys.

Thanks. I've only just had a massive surge in progress. Give it time mate, no point in rushing it

brakes are something that save your life. i have noticed no difference in weight under driving/braking conditions. the brakes are simply unreal, you should go in a car with or have a go in one buddy.

I have the 266mm brake setup from a 206 GTi, and it's very good.
Got the calipers, discs and pads for £50 too, so not much money at all

Did you get them from the scrappies?

Cars awesome mate, cracking work!!

Beats fitting a show cage a refreshing progress thread to read!!

I think 266mm brakes with good fluid and pads should be plenty!

What sort of plans engine wise? Keep the 1.4 with nice brakes and suspension and give some 16vers a run for their money?

Cheers mate, nice to be appreciated. Yeah i'm gonna keep the 1.4 in it and just trick the handling to perfect. Keeping the furio stickers on it just so they know what passed them

It's on a nice fat list of things. First is vtr alloys, then kam exhaust, then 266 brakes, then apex 40mm kit or spax adjustables. not sure yet
