We shall. I might get round to fabricating an exhaust butterfly. apexi used to make one but they are now discontinued. that would be a nice unique mod

Ok, the new plan is to mount the catch tank in front of the battery mount and get an alloy tank for the power steering fluid to replace the bodge of a job i currently have to keep it out the way of the induction kit. these two tanks will be put together. then i will get a universal washer bottle to mount to the left of the rad, leaving space for the fitment of a vts rad in the future.

where did you get the oil catch tank from?!
Nice work by the way, are you getting a whole new exhaust system later in the project?

Just got my new bits delivered. A nice big green filter for my induction kit, a bonnet stay clip and a steering wheel bolt, as the original was "misplaced" while i was stripping the car

Green fitted. As you can see, the drastic size difference between this and the raceland one.

Cheers. im tapping a third hole where the drain plug is in my tank to locate a pipe going to the crankcase. should help throttle response and allow the engine to rev easier. will also prevent any oil leaks from pressure.

Yeah the same as yours but the filter wont be there, it will run back into the air system, too many fumes. and the third pipe vents the crankcase and will allow the oil to drain back into the engine so you don't have to empty it.

Not sure about the condensation, didn't know it would be a severe problem. well we have a 350 throttle bodied hill climb formula Renault at college with the same system so it can't be to much of a problem

You won't need to plumb the catch tank back into the engine mate... I've had mine on for nearly a year now and never had to empty it once and it does get driven hard on trackdays and occasional road use. I tried emptying it once and only a tiny bit of oil trickled out. You certainly won't need it emptying on a furio though, its only very high spec engines that will see it working properly . Looks good though!
