personal choice.
if i was going from scratch and the prices of mapping id go emerald, atm i have omex. personally dont like the issues that some people have with kms and wideband.

Who mentioned bike bodies Ryan? Not something we'd advise, let alone sell. Our kit would normally include the following:
Emerald K3 ECU, PC control software, base maps, operator's manual, PC communications lead, flying lead loom with ECU plug, Jenvey throttle bodies, fuel rails, air horns, Bosch fuel injectors, fuel pressure regulator, throttle position sensor, air & coolant temperature sensors.
Fitting wise I can't compete with what has been written earlier in this post, you would be looking at nearer £500-600 plus VAT, and mapping on top too. The inlet manifold should come in under £200 although I can't remember the exact figure off top of my head.
Paul.

for the price i would have expected that. I am glad that you are part of those who dont belive they are a good option. what jenveys are they? SF or dcoe? if dcoe a sandybrown inlet manifold is 250 irc. and gives a whapping great inlet tract and a more direct to head type induction set up

DCOE normally Ryan, didn't realise Sandy's manifolds were so readily available, if they are like the rest of his work I am sure they are of a very high standard.

I have got a Sandy Brown inlet for my bike throttle bodies, really impressed with the workmanship thats gone into it. Would definatly recommend Sandy for anyone considering inlet manifolds for tbs.

After you add up all the costs, it's no cheaper than the DTH setup from QEP + mapping and installation from GMC.

That's not bad Sam mate. Good job for being the detective!
If you wouldn't mind... Could you possibly mail them back, saying that you have a friend who would like a similar service at the same time, and if there would be any discount for us, if we both buy the ECU, wiring, fitment etc, etc. And also would they put the iTbs on and set all of that stuff up too.
Nice one mate!
Oh, nearly forgot! Ask them about the coolant and oil temperature sensors!

wont be a problem for them doing the bodies, coz he wanted to know if i wanted bodies fitted to mine aswel while i was doing it, doubt they'll do a discount for 2 of us he wasnt a fan of waving the vat if i paid cash for the labour, but he did advise they where the high labour costs and woulld probably end up being cheaper just didnt want to under quote me

Right then! It's looking quite likely that Sam and myself may be going with the Omex 600 ECU. If anyone has any final words as to why this may not be the correct decision, please speak now, or forever hold your peace!
