Any there any adverse effects of doing this. I.e in the winter with the radio, and blowers on full blast?

Ditto. I think they must be able to budge on price a bit, cant seeing them costing much to make. The GMC ones a crazy price for one pulley

Yeah, pretty expensive for what they are. I'd say £70 is a bit more realistic.

look mates i have one cuestion , the pulley doesnt have like a type of rubber? how do you get that rubber to the gmc pulley? or it comes with it already ? because once i broke up the cranck pulley and the mechanich said to me that it was because it broke the rubber which attach it to the cranck in itself.

The rubber part is a harmonic damper
this helps to reduce crank back lash
alot of cars dont have the rubber at all
many of the gti6 forum users run a pully without them and have done so for many miles with no significant side effects
speak to lynx enginnering who do the 306 ones
