Yeah... they will work on all engines...



I took mine off, as they get to be really annoying <img src= "smileys/smiley3.gif">



Most leak boost under slight acceeleration too, which is very annoying on the motorway..

I was under the impression that a piston type dump valve would increase lag on a T2 sized turb. Could be wrong though.

How would it increase lag??



Piston type dump valves do tend to be more sensitive and would leak boost on very light acceleration... however if you were to nail the throttle the DV would stay shut.

To be honest I am not completely sure, but I have seen it stated on the Forge website, I have looked but I can't see it on there any more. I am sure Bailey say it too.

Wastegates sound a lot more Rally-esque which is great to listen to. Love the sound on some of the videos of Simo's car.

My DV sticks some times aswell, sticks open so I have to copper grease it every month..

So 'Bucky' has got a wastegate, but on his avatar theres a pic of an AX, then a pic of a VTS engine?? does this mean u own an AX VTS 1.6 16v turbo????????? do explain as im intresed in gettin a 106GTi tubo'd (as Simo knows)

Yep, I have just took me car for a run 2night after a few problems I had and got it running at 7psi.



This thing had me shaking its that insane, thats no shit. bloody thing isn't even mapped right yet.



1st, 2nd, and part of 3rd is useless. and done a 740I BMW on the motorway LOL.
