I have read you guide 'properly' thanks.

You say it goes into a hole in the engine block but it melted so you had to rebuild it to make it smaller. Have we got to rebuild it? If so how on earth is that done?

lol ok m8 well you can either let it melt and come in two pieces and it will be shorter and wire the ends up. or i think a mk1 sensor is shorter and wont melt upto you. i didnt no wat u ment

Got this fitted today, sounds absolutely lush!

Got a prob though... the top sensor that goes into the hole at the bottom on the raceland doesn't quite reach. Did you lot extend it or am I missing something?

Also when it came to putting the bolt back in the gearbox, the holes didn't line up by about 10mm, I tried to line them up but the manifold wasn't having any of it. Atm I've just left it out as the manifold feels very sturdy as isn't going anywhere. Did anyone else have this problem?

Cheers

see when you remove the oil pressure sensor to the middle off the block. what size is the hole in the block ?cause i was thinking off putting mines down by the oil filter where you put the m10 screw. or is the sensor to big for that? if it is to big is there much off a diffrence in size? could it be easily bored out a bit? anyone know? cheers

anders0n have you put the cable round the back of the engine as that should reach fine that way m8.

some people have had problems with it lining up, i think you should try giving the bit on the manifold a lil smack to bend it in the right way as then there is less movement in the exhaust. my bolt fell out once and it made such a noise cuz of the movement

Yep tried the cable round the back but it wouldn't reach. I'll just extend it with some speaker wire or something, then tape it all up neatly.

As for the the bolt, the manifold really isn't going anywhere, feels solid as anything. I'll try a mate pushing on it from the front, but I don't hold much hope.

Cheers
