thanks for this thread. gave me a great idea for my grill... ive taken the slats section out and rubbed it down... primered it and sprayed it black... and the rest ive done same color of car lol... half way through it..

Alright mate, I know this is an old thread but this is my next task. This guide is useful, cheers. I'm just wondering if the mesh you used was the black plastic mesh or was it painted steel?

i know this is an old thread, but how would you get at the bonnet release catch with a meshed grille please? thanks in advance!

The ones that you could buy meshed, have a little cut out where you can still access it.
