Are you running the PAS rack dry or have you rigged it up so the fluid is still inside?

Dry, see how it goes, got a spare rack if it goes wrong but it doesnt offer any lubrication to the system just fluid assistance...
Bumged the pipe holes with threaded bungs and drilled holes in them to allow the air to pass in and out otherwise the steering will end up "spongey" feeling

Need to get that sound proofing off, the feel is so much better without pas. More more positive.

Yeah man! Its starting to piss me off! One of garage rules is no heat or sparks inside the garage, so have to weld or grind on the drive, includes heat gun as well, it aint too bad under the canopy mind but just hadnt had time to push it out to do that and push it back in yet, will tonight i hope, going for test drive later i hope assuming alls going well and recieve the plates back.... Looking forward to driving without the pas got high expectaions of it :-) lol

Looks like not going out in it tonight which is a real bummer! Spose just gives me more time to prep the car for it all and start fitting some other stuff like the other bonnet pin which i havent got round to yet lol, tow straps and finish the dash off!! Grr its still dragging on lol

Bit more work on it today :-) changed oil and filter...
Finished bonnet pins
Front fogs out
Arch liners out
Spare wheel and frame out
Tomorrow is shafts out and cv boots, plugs and gearbox oil... Also front and rear bumper off, take the parking sensors out the bumper and cut the spare wheel hangers off and the rear tow eye... Might try and get the rear suspension un seized...
