well as usual things didn't go quite as planned so started drivers side engine mount but nut got seized on and couldn't get the thing off, so had to order some new toys to be able to remove this stubborn sucka.
also wasn't in mood after struggling with that mount to do the drop links so just ended up painting calipers and as you can see I don't think I caw in correct mood for that either a lil sloppy with paint
decals added
also started spraying up engine covers some more, but now they are sprayed I think I now need to do something with centre parts. thinking orange in the grooves to match??
the lastly sprayed window wipers as they were a bit tired and manky
ordered this catch tank to fit, it arrived but no one was in and some orange hose.
next plans are to sort engine mount and replace drop links. in aug get body work sorted out. and hopefully inbetween times get some lowering springs to get the height looking better. and if the wheels I want should appear well happy days

started premixing to hopefully help lube things up
new bhr 585 coils and magnecor 8mm leads pain to fit as very limited space so lost prob a whole pack on nuts on this job
reached the 300 mile club. actally it carried on to 326 miles to one full tank, but that was boring 65-72 mph drive on mototrway

done a hell of a lot to the car but just cant remember half of it nor find the pics.
so had damage fixed finally
finally back to nice paint work
been toying with these mirrors for last few weeks on and off their mazspeed rep mirrors, or to most evo look-a-likes
still not 100% on colour but will fit and see and prob change to colour coded
then lastly I ordered some new suspension, new struts and lowering springs so arch gap should be closed up a little more
and new front end pic just cos it looks nice

been a busy few weeks with buying and fitting and work, managed to buy a nexus install
started on front suspension
started rears but all went wrong and everything was seized, so off to mechanics Monday for rears, and drop links
also trial fitted the new side mirrors and think they need to be colour coded

after all the suspension fun I also managed to break the rear headlight sensor, usually they break on the silly flimsy arm as its lowered down but no this my work, it managed to break the silly free moving bolt to the rear of the sensor. thus making it an expensive fix as these sensors aren't cheap.
then a bit cosmetic work for interior as a new boot

Quick update. Well chuffed passed mot with flying colours after shitting it for a week. Did a oil change and then got car up on stands and undersealed the under side of car ready for winter.
Managed to also get a bargain on insurance too and now also save 12p a month on road tax so with the saved pennies this all goes toward some more toys. I fancy some new side skirts and a aem cold air feed when they pop up for the right money

here is my old rx8 i had a few years ago it was also same engine as yours with a decat stainless straight through i could use a full tank in two days thats not doing many miles aswell.. i was young tho and i was driving it very hard to shoot flames out the back..
the engine on mine would not start if it was warm its hard to find a good one now on ebay as they need a engine rebuild at every 60k
