Default Controller/Software "DJs"

Who are you, what do you use, and what genre???

I've just received my Pioneer DDJ SX yesterday which runs Serato DJ (new, which allows 4 deck mixing and VJing). I have to say, as my first venture into controller territory I'm pretty well blown away, compared to my CDJ1000II and DJM500 set up.

Seems pretty stable with my laptop (Acer 5742) which only has 3gb of RAM and a 250Gb HDD which is almost full!

Currently playing House and Old Skool but with this I'm tempted to venture back into my Trance playing days

Currently have just an American Audio VMS4 atm. Sold my numark's last week as i'm saving for something bigger and better and quite frankly, although purerist seem to hate midi controllers. . its pretty solid. All integrated into one XLR outputs, able to run codec's or another CDJ off it using VDJ PRO 4 deck. Which has also served me well. . Never had any issues with my pc Toshiba running 6gb ram and 500 HD and 4.6 ghz total.

As for genre, pretty much anything goes. . but my forte would definitely have to be deep and electro house. . But have to adapt to play old school garage, along with your everyday chart stuff.

I've got a hercules rmx & I use VDJ Pro, but also traktor.

to be honest though I think, from what I've read Serato is one of the best.

VDJ is good because with a light skin I can run it perfectly on my little netbook
