I know the feeling mate. I had a VTR until about 2 months ago. I had to give it up as I moved out of my parents house and into my own flat and could no longer afford to insure it.
I bought a 1.0 Corsa C (Ins Group 1) in its place and I detest everything about it. The gearbox even locks up completely every now and again coming out of 2nd gear so I have to skip it and go straight to 3rd

Why do Corsas have heated rear windows?
To keep your hands warm when you're pushing them.

Whats the mileage on the Corsa? Might be the time when stuff starts needing to be replaced at roughly 60k etc.

Corsa's are good cars to be fair
With every car there's going to be the odd one that goes wrong, thats life tbh!
