Default Where's hard house gone??

Y'know... i'm always finding new music to add to my collection, but unfortunately and most annoyingly my hard house collection is pretty sparse.

Whatever happened to Hard house? Where did it go? Has it changed name?

The kinda stuff i'm on about... Lisa Lashes, Paul Maddox, Tidy Boys, Paul Glazby, Narc etc

Like these: (found whilst googling)

http://www.simoneve.com/charts/audio...ed_edit_96.mp3

http://www.simoneve.com/charts/audio...on_edit_96.mp3

Whatever i find nowadays is junk 'donk'

Saying that, i did manage to re-gain posession of 'Keep it tidy 4 by Tidy Boys 4cd' SOme classic HH there

Saying that.... just found a handy website... http://www.trackitdown.net/genre/hard_dance/top10.html

Seems to be a bit less donk on there

Cally Gage is fucking banging, but Lisa Pinup is the hardhouse queen for me

I was listening to a Tidy Trax CD yesterday at work, brought back memories

This CD is worth a purchase if you don't have it - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/No-1-Hard-Hous...item5d2e6d6ca3

£1.21 delivered, bargain.. CD's 1, 2 and 4 are ok, but CD3 is a banger

Time To Burn (Nick Sentience mix) - Storm
Warrior - Warrior
Pitchin' (In Every Direction) - Hi-Gate

Fuckin tunes

Theres aload of Lisa Pinup CD's on eBay too, get on there and buy some, she is unbeatable i seen her playing in Inverness and it was just non stop banging

Hard house isn't my favourite genre but it is amazing, continuous punching beats, it's def the best music to dance to

Really its a shame rob (fergie) stopped playing, hes now into more tech. Hes sold off all his old records etc....

`Obviously when tony died the scene took a huge hit.

Actually i've completely missed the point of this thread, i'm recommending old hard house CD's and tunes...you're actually wanting to know if theres any new stuff

Can't help you there...haven't heard any new hard house in ages, Cally Gage plays some good hard house but thats all i can think of really, go on her site callygage.com and you can download like 6 of her CD's

I'll have a 'youtube' about Tech trance to see what i come up with.

Favorite tune for me is a tie... Both by 'Signum'... 'What ya got for me' and 'comin on strong'

I wouldn't have classed tdv as hard house.

Lisa lashes tracks were pretty awesome. I started playing the stuff in about 2001 but didn't last long as most places wanted baseline or trance so I fucked it all off for piano house and old school

Saw Lisa pin up live in Torquay one year. The set didn't get appreciated as it should have IMO. Too many "trendies"

See, i've been going to raves both legal and illegal since i started walking, many clubs such as brixton academy, the fridge, the drome (now SE1).... they were mostly psy trance nights (im still fond of psy trance) but nearly always had a hard room.

The one that stands out for me was a rave up in some forestry commission land in wales, some hippies has some land up there and lived on double decker busses. The part was called 'carry on regardless' and was bloody amazing... everyone used to turn up and go for a walk in the woods picking shrooms.

Went to a rave a while back in Cockfosters on the outskirts of london, that was pretty sick. Cant remember what i was called though... didnt know where the hell i was, what i was doing... lol.

Tony was a huge man as part of the hard house movement. His 12 hour long set @ turnmills for trade was the longest set they ever had there.
