Suggestion - 'Group-Buy' section - Saxperience

I think a group buy section would be a good idea, maybe under "What's it worth?"

Its been said before and dismissed but I really think it would help get more people into some of these and in turn save people money.

Sometimes the "Item's" may fall into a few sections and if the sections rather active it is easy for a thread to drop down the list and be forgot!

It may even help with smaller group buys such as cleaning products which I've seen on other forums as people are actually looking for deals rather than stumbling upon them!

Thoughts?

I'm in one ATM for Torsion bars and was going to try and set up another shortly! I know there is also one for Predator ECU's going on!

I think a section would encourage more too!

I do think it would encourage more stuff to be done! Just need to make sure it's not just for track cars

On another forum I'm on they seem to be always doing one or two! Ranging from parts and tools to even stuff like health shake powders!

altho not many get planned, there has been group buys on here in past and i was bit gutted i had never seen the thread, once rolling sometimes dont get bumped and go pages back and people pm each other bout it, can you get a kinda sub forum in the for sale section? not have its own bit, not a sticky though as wouldnt work

Think it might work a little better as its own section like "What's it worth" so you can see the last post bit without things getting mixed up with other for sale stuff!

Just a thought!

sure i suggested this a while back??..ppl would be more inclined to make them if they seen a section they could join in and get cheaper stuff

Good idea. Keeps them all in one spot instead of here there and everywhere. Even though i havent been in one.. it would be nice to see what was in the prev group buys etc..

It's been used on pretty much every other forum with great results..

The beauty of group buys is the seller, buyer and the rest of the community get a good deal.
