Cutting Weight
just heard that Thiago Alves is going to re-hydrate to 190-195lbs after weighing in at 170.. how is that possible???

well they had to starve themselfs, loose lots of water weight to get to the lower weight so when they finish comp they will go mad and eat and drink everything in site

As said not very healthy and was a large factor in what cost De La Hoya the fight against Pacciao.
He was on a drip before the fight and Pac's trainer saw the needle marks and told Pac to get him straight away.
I am surprised the Alves info is so well known and allowed. But it seems that he has a week or so to put that weight back on, longer than Hoya had.

sorry my post wasnt that clear, the weigh ins are the day before the fight he hasnt weighed in at 170 yet, but he will. so he will be putting 20+ on in the space of 24-36hrs!!
