No problem.

Usually Audi don't even mention stuff like that so you stand a good chance. I know what you mean about dreading it though, my engine management light came on a few days ago but after getting it looked at and a few minutes of the mechanic making those classic "Big Job Sucking Noises" he said I'm only playing its only a sensor! lol

The s6 wheels are staying, the porsche rims are just for the winter!

Might be sold though, just uploaded a pic of them on my fb' and if the price is right, il just buy another set for the winter.

Well the guy asked me if my oil light came on, it didnt, he asked is my engine management light came on, it didnt, i had a mate come round last night, and put it on the VAGCOM, or vdcs i think it is now, no fault codes at all, so if it has gone, its only just on its way out, but he said first thing that comes to mind is too check all the pipes, as it weird the ecu thinks nothings wrong.

Intercooler pipes from what I can see in the very compact bay are fine, not really blue smoke, but a slight difference in fumes.

Ah fair does. Never know what is eh!

Love the porsche wheels tho, adapters are fun.

Gotta run 57mm adapters on my TT for the land rover wheels... et of 57 is painful!

My friend has a Lupo TDI and he had a similar problem not so long ago, sounded like the turbo was screeching/grinding and power loss! Turned out to be a boost pipe had come off, you couldn't hear a leak as such just the turbo screaming lol!

The bay in most Audi's are tight, lots of covers and other crap to remove before you can get the where you want usually lol!

Tim, I hope it gets fixed man. this car is serious sex. Im planning for my next car to be either a DS3 or an A3 TDI. you've swayed me to go for the Audi, in a big way. this is one fine ass example of it

Their for sale if your interested, all of my wheels have been for sale for the right price or trade, just not the S6 V10s, seriously in love with them, look epic in the flesh mate!

Landrovers are 5x112? Straight fit for me

Exactly what it was mate! Just a fucking pipe which was well hidden!

Yeah, my bay has a lot of covers, but I like it, bays can look so ugly!

It's fixed mate, picking it up in the morning.

Honestly, after having 3 french cars, as much as I loved the saxo, I could never have anotther french car, the build quailty, I'm sure most people will agree, is shit, rattles everywhere, even though nothing was loose or had any play, mad.

One thing I will say though, before you commit to buying an A3/Audi/Vag, servicing can be expensive, a service is on average around £250 without any parts, if you need brakes, that will be on top!

The pipe that broke, is only about half a foot, and has just cost me £184.64, but its better than a 1/2k turbo rebuild

Little Update, and a few picks of the 2.8l V6 Cosworth Engine, soon to be a coffee table

So firstly a few of the block, its been stripped bear, it came with everything, even the gear box, so took me a day to take it apart, clean it, sand it down, then sanded it down again today, primed it all, and put the first coat of gloss on it.

Seen the beading on the a3 when outside the old mans factory so took a few!

Sad I know, but I enjoy beading, only cleaned it yesterday and its flithy already though, and the baller stance pic, need to pratice taking good photos, as from behind you can see the little camber, and the phatboy stance!

Thanks mate, nice to see comments like this!

Well, im off to put another deposit on another set of winter wheels tomorrow, as I have provisionally sold the porsche cayenne turbos, so hopefully shall still only have two sets and not three.

Plan is to take off the S6's end of september, early october and get them refurbed a different colour ready for show season next year!

To be honest, a guy on Audi sport had the same KW coilover kit as me, so when i seen his car lowered all the way, with the same tyre profile and stretch, kind of knew its the kit i wanted, plus KW's are amazing as i said before, pay for what you get.

Cheers mate, had to have another turbo in the end though, happened again week after, and it defienatly was the turbo this time, so another £972, the car was all well.

Yeah I have bought a few sets for her, next set should be here beginning october.

Thanks again, should see more carbon updates soon!
