Update

Few pics to start off.

Main update, the winter wheels are on.

Cleaned the s6 v10s, and put them away for the winter,

And replaced them with genuine audi a8 monoblock winter wheels, 18x7.5j, the tyres on in these pics are 215/45/18 and wouldnt fit under the arches and rubbed like fuck, have now got 215/35/18s on but have no pic of yet.

Not expceting much love from you lot tbh, but they look alright in the flesh, plus their only to take the winter battering rather than the s6 wheels,

All comments welcome.

Should paint them a simular colour to your others just to make it look a tad better?

Nice car mate.

Nice car mate.
i'll be keeping them oem colour as if i start painting them, will start worrying bout stone chips etc, not worth the hassle for the winter, plus im saving for an interior so wont be spending money for the sake of it

Cheers though mate,

i think they look alright, but if i had my red sax on the road this winter id be swapping my schmidts for chepo steels with good tires even less likey to be worried about scuffing them lol i can imagine those winter wheels still cost a few pennies

I got them mates rates, off a guy called Lesta Morgan, you should see his green rocco in fast car, got a 6 page feature, usually go for around 600 with tyres, i paid 500, then sold the tyres on there for 160, but spent another 195 on famine spec tyres, not the usual falkens.

Sold the wheels they were on, and running a 9j stretch in the winter isnt good, skinny 7.5j will be more suitable, plus the s6s are worth a big so wouldnt want to kerb them on black ice etc.

Thats fair enough, only snows bout 5 days of the year down here, normally 2 of them in december and the rest in feb, and i usually borrow the old girl c3, its amazinly good in the snow, my old gti180 couldnt even move an inch, i done a full 3 point turn in the c3.

Fair play, I do mean it though, love minis.

Put 10mm spacers on the rear just now in the rain, so hopefully if it stops raining shall wax it tomorrow ready for Krispy Kreme meet in Bristol Sunday.

So its now ET40 front, ET30 at the rear. Shall get some pics up later when itsa settled and arch gap has reduced.
