Default Engine Conv Help?
Hi Guys,

I'm planning an engine swap during the winter on my VTR. I have a VTS engine/box etc. The issue I have is with the ECU's. My VTR has a 3 plug ECU whereas the VTS engine I have has a single plug ECU. Does anyone know if the engines can still be swapped and how best to work around the ECU issue?

Yes they can be swapped, you will need to splice the looms or have one made

It's been done loads of times. You'll be lucky to find an exact guide but the basics is:
Wiring diagram of both cars
Map both looms
Cut and solder relevant wires
