Post Advise on Cam

Hello to all. I have a '03 VTR Saxo and was wondering what cam would suit it for forest rallying , and what sort of mods would have to be done to maximise the fitment if any of course. I will be maintaining the 8v for the time being.

I had the same idea of pumping money into my 8v engine, but like everyone else, ended up going 16v, just generally more bang for your buck.

I've had 8v and 16v and even though the 16v is more powerful there's something about the little 8v that's pleasing. Get a piper cam. 743 I think it is and get the head ported and polished. Get the valve seats cut to multi angles so it ImProves the flow aswell. I got my valve seats cut slightly deeper into the head so it's open a tiny bit longer but I'm not running a cam. Get bike carbs or throttle bodies. Easier to mock up a manifold at home cos injectors are in ye head itself and not inlet manifold. Could have a bit o a skim aswell to up compression slightly aswell.
