Default Fuel tank pipework identification

Hello all,

Need some assistance with identifying a rogue vapour / fuel line on my 106 Gti, the vapour / fuel line comes from what can only be described as a vent from the top of the tank and is connected to a white vent / rollover valve (i assume this is what it's called) from there the vapour / fuel line has been cut off so i have no idea where it should be go to

I will upload some photos shortly.

So the bit thats circled coming from the white rollover valve goes to the top of the tank. it plugs into the green insert.

The other pipe coming from the white rollover valve goes straight to the carbon canister in the right hand side wing.

Excellent, Thanks! another mystery solved.

I was hoping to get rid of the carbon canister set up to avoid another pipe being routed through the car. Don't suppose you know the original routing of this?

I think it's something ridiculous, it goes up the rear wheel arch on the drivers side. Then inside the car it goes up to the roof, it follows the rear wash pipe and then down the A pillar and exits into the wing.

This is from memory. it could be totally wrong. Servicebox doesn't show the pipe routing either.

I don't remember a pipe being in the sill of my Rallye anyway so I guess it goes to the roof.
