New Scanner - Saxperience

my epson 3490 scanner arrived last night so i had a play with it as it has the ability to scan colour / black and white film as well as slides, and this was the result : the quality is amazing i can scan bigger than A3 (obviously i had to shrink the pic otherwise it would take an age to load) but very pleased with the results and its pretty fast as well. its a good alternative for people who cant afford top end digital slrs as the scanner was only £60 from pixmania

Great pic! A bit too much agle for me, but the contrast is awesome! The car is great for black and white aswell.

BTW isn't DSLR cheaper in the long run as you don't have to get the pics developed?

cheers mate, it would be if you had to pay for processing, however i can do black and white, colour neg and slide for free at college so only expense is the film
