Default Kam Racing 4-1 Manifold

Anyone with a mk2 vtr fitted the Kam Racing 4-1 manifold?

Just want to know if anyone has had any problems fitting particularly regarding the oil filter and whether or not you noticed decent gains from it?

Cheers

Yeah i fitted one on mine. There is a clearence issue on the oil filter housing, to get past this you need to fit two exhaust manifold gaskets to hold the exhaust slightly further from the head. This will give you a few mm clearence that you need, i also heat wrapped my manifold to help protect the filter and the like from heat etc....

Also as for the performance there a few bhp to be had, but the main difference is how freely the engine rev's. It feels as though the engine picks up quicker, i mean with just a straight through exhaust and airfilter my car has seen 105bhp on the rolling road, thats not bad for a 12 year old car on 150,000miles that only had 98bhp from standard as new hope this helps
