Default Exhaust recomendations ?

got an 03 VTR

what exhaust would you recomend.

i will be running a toyosports 4branch manifold (4-2-1)

was looking at either a saxsport or a Kam racing ??? although i would prefer a bigger tailpipe eg 3" / 3n1/4"

not bothered about it being loud or having a cat as im replacing manifold anyway so will be de-cat.

budget say around 250/300 max and preferably Brand new tbh.

Piper backbox will get the size you are after. Match up with either a supersprint or piper centre pipe and job jobbed.

i would rather give my money to my mates for beers than have one of those top gear places make me a 'custom system' fuck that on a saxo.

The toyosport manifolds are good, if its a 4/2/1 it makes the VTR sound really pop'y on its limiter.
I would buy a 2nd supersprint personally, saxsport/kam/piper whatever are all basically the same, just you preference.

kam racing looks lovely they are deep and raspy at higher revs.
supersprint i love personally lovely sounding at idle, quite raspy more rapy than the kam racing.
have you got a pic of your car mate?

Local lad did my custom pipe work 2" system with two straight through boxes with a 2" tail and didn't cost that much as everything came from the second hand parts bin next door

Any particular reason why you want the 3' backbox?

I personally think they look chav, the sound is alright, depends what noise you want.

I much prefer the sound you get from the 2' backbox hence the reason why I got rid of the 3' system that was on mine and replaced it with the saxsport decat race system.

Sounds the bollocks
