Do i need both lambda sensors ?

Hi guys, iv got 2 mk2 saxos, a w reg furio and an 03 plate vtr, i had a piper manifold on the furio (cat in exhaust pipe) and id like to put it on the vtr (cat in manifold) the manifold only has one lambda sensor hole but as my vtr has 2 lambda sensors, iv been quoted £30 to get another tapped hole put into my manifold to accommodate both the sensors, do i need both the sensors? the vtr runs spot on so im thinking keep them both as i dont want to make it run like shit,any one got any advice or think i should just carry on with what im thinking and keep both ?

my mate has a 4-2-1 mani on his 106 quickie and he runs both sensors so im geussing thats the way to go for the cost of £30 ?

without no cat and running both sensors will more than likely bring on the EML.
Fit the first one and sleeve the second one so it reads clean air and the Ecu will think the cat is working and wont bring on a light.

I ran both sensors in mine and lived with the light on.

He means use one of these on the post cat lambda sensor.
