cheers guys mine arrived to day, the same, dissapointed as i think the design is sihte it should come to the slam panel????, what is the breather filter for???

Get some piping and get it by the slam panel then
Also the breather filter, goes where teh breather hose used to be

Give you sound but will heat soak all day long.
Also being the older foam design over age these break up and fall to bits.

Im talking about real milage, these are ganarented for 1 million miles like k&n's yer try looking at one thats done 20-30k miles then tell me they dont fall apart.
It wasnt a debate im saying what happens to them...

And if you do want to use a open filter, try and build/buy a proper heat sheild.
And also beware in heavy down poors as filters soaking wet arnt fun.
