Default Gearbox Question

Will a 1.1 saxo gearbox fit a 954cc saxo, or are there complications / differences.

Only reason for asking is syncro gone in the 1litre box, and found a 1.1, but struggling to find another 1Litre one.

Thanks for any advice in advance

check if your driveshafts are either tapered or non-tapered. I had a problem with a furio box and I was using the wrong dirveshafts which meant they never sealed correctly and slowly after a month the G'box ran itself try and ate its own arse.. so be careful buddy

Only the hub ends are different. Gearbox end of the shafts are all the same.

yeah that's what I mean, but if you had the different type of hub then obvious the driveshaft will be different. That is why I mentioned drive shaft because imo the he driveshafts are easier to identify I will try get pics tomoro of the 2 different types of shaft

If he is only changing the gearbox how is the hub end any problem? Just use the shafts he already has.
