If it's as low as 800kg that is some serious weight saving!

Mine was around the 860kg mark give or take. Danny's is lighter than mine bar quite a margin, so yours Toadus must be below 800kg. Think Ryan's gonna win this.

Yup! 810kgs is a mighty fine figure imo, and as you said theres plenty more to come out of yours still. I reckon if I could get mine down to say 825 with the cage Id be very happy. Saying that a fair bit more stuff came out after we weighted mine up. But then again I was also missing my arch haha!
Come on Toadusnessness where are ya?

Mr Toad has just left mine after a long evening working on his car, so on his way home and I guess he'll pop on here before he gets off to bed.
I know they figure and i was very impressed! Plus after the progress we had tonight, the figure he has now is wrong
And wow went out in the car and omg such a machine! 1 of my favourite cars ever!
Top evening Dave!

Nice one mate. Real big thanks for your help tonight! I would never have got the dash out on my own, no way! Glad you liked the ride too.
I've got some good pics of the work and I've also got a pick of the weighing results. I'm not at home, so can't take them off my phone, but I should be back tomorrow. Once we got the dash out, we removed as much of the sound deadening as possible. We then removed the airbag and glovebox form the dash, and also the airbag from the steering wheel. With a few other bits and bobs, we got about 10kg out, so not bad at all.
Back to the weighing... I had it done at motorworx, and they used proper corner scales. Danny, you were closest - congratulations. The weight was 785kg. Not bad with the half tank of fuel. You can take another 10kg off that total straight away. And also, if I put the Superleggera's on (13kg each) I will save a total of 10kg as my current wheels with the R888's weigh 15.5kg. So 765kg with half a tank. I think that's a result.
