hi guys is a loud exhaust gonna fail the mot test? just changed rear back box to a 4" stainless sounds very loud noticed it has no middle box will i fail but it has a cat? sounds like a bloody scooby lol

Water leak
Can your car fail from a water leak from the washer bottle it still sprays on the screen think the pipes split somewhere just annoying I've swapped the pump and bottle and still does it

Rear lights tinted? would they fail if they are tinted so much?? like if you couldnt see the reflectors or somthing.

any amount of tint cancels the E mark and is a a fail.

does it matter how low ur car is for its mot ?? mine 90mm on back and 60mm front will that pass ?? cheers chris

MOT next month, not had time to install my new PAS pump, is it a fail for it not to be working if its installed?

Yeah fail. If its fitted it has to be in full working order.

Not the hardest job just a bit faffy with the spanners. Jacking the car up makes it easier mate. Just remember to bleed the system after going from lock to lock until no bubbles appear in the reservoir

cheers, might have a bash this week, I have an old bottle of PAS fluid which is probs a year old. Does it retain water like brake fluid or will it be ok to use?
