Dunno weather this has eva been suggested before n dunno how hard it is but what bout a chat room on ere? there usually a few people online...i know id use it!

Thanks for the feedback.
This has been raised before, and in fact in the Suggestions/Improvements forum - look further back in time.
In a nutshell...
Anything said in a live chat wouldn't be recorded for the benefit of the sax-p community members (whereas the forums are). Also, MSN, Yahoo and the rest are much better at live chat than we could be - why re-invent the wheel.

what could be done i suppose is each night some one create a room on yahoo or lycos and we could all just pile in there.
This is almost like a chat room in the evenings but it is good for all the 'chat; to be seen by everybody else.
alternatively on MSN just invite your whole list of names to join your room. Infact i might try that. See what happens.

I agree a chat-time would be useful... BUT I also agree that MSN messenger, etc is a better way of doing this.
Live chat chews up a shed load of bandwidth.. for meaningless chat.
I agree with Mark - worthy posts will be made/stored on the forum. Meaningless posts will be cleaned up as mod's see fit.
