I run a Powervamp pc545 on my 106, aint had any probs with it.
It doesn't have an alarm and does have a cut off switch however.
As for a trickle charger, i use one i got one from Lidl for £5.99 iirc.

£5.99 bargains.
i use a rallydesign 25 battery, been ok so far through the build, always started the car.......
mines in an ali battery box where the standard battery goes, frees up space and didnt have to run power through the car. i have a phobia of running power cables through the bulkhead.......
any links atall to the chargers. mine is pretty ancient!

The Ctek 3600 is ideal for oddessey batteries.
As some cheaper type ones don't like charging dry cell, unsure if save is a gel type or dry cell.
As some gel batteries will be ok to charge on cheap charges like that.
Save is that a peak charger also? Or just a charger, as some chargers will charge it then will not hold it at the peak and will start to drain it.

i am interested in what a clifford alarm would do also as i want to relocate my battery to the boot i may use a standard ones for the time being in a box but i want a dry cell one my car sits for maybe a day and a half max would this let the car run down on charge?
suppose it depends on the power use of the alarm system?

Bit of rust in that bay
And Josh these oddessey battery's are meant to be better at holding charge than standard unit.
I think your brothers could have a problem is he running it direct to starter? Or though a cut off switch?
