Yeah I'm sure it is but just needs new cross bars I assume...

These would do the trick if you're extreme with the weight saving

Carbon roof is no use for MSA motorsport though...

Do the msa not approve of them in any application? apart from manufacturer applications such as m3's. i guess if you roll it turns into a splintering blade

Body (including aerodynamics)
11.4.1. Silhouette of the vehicle must remain unaltered
in construction, dimension and material. The silhouette
will be taken in the condition in which the car competes

I might just go for the replacement panel.

the streamline roof skins can just bond in, you dont need to buy the new cross bars from streamline at all, i would reccomend fitting the non sunroof skinned roof bow in the middle though, i think anyone going proply into motor sport should go for the proper roof skin and not the patching method

What ever's cheapest apart from riveting a bit of ali onto the roof!

No point in bonding on a C/F skin on top of a metal one for motorsport.

Its just for the tarts & there handbags...

I think it'd work out more than £200 all in.

A replacement panel on the other hand would work out cheaper.

I emailed one for the Scottish hillclimb eligibility scrutineers about fitting one of these sunroof replacement panels in place of the sunroof and he was happy enough that it would be within the rules to do so in the production "A" classes.
