Track car insurance .
Just a quick thread for if your track car is still road legal.
I found fitting a cage to the car took me outside of normal insurance companies.
Can we get a list together of companies that will insure fully modded track cars
My insurance is £157 fully comp with unlimited mods.
Company is REIS - http://www.reis.co.uk/index.php
Anymore to add ?

Thanks for heads up ill be needing something soon. There was an offcut of one of the big modified ones who gave track day cover and covered cages but cant remember who.

Christ that seems a good deal! Is that limited mileage such as can only be driven to tracks or anything goes? Heard of them before off Northloop, seems decent. I'll get a quote off them once my current insurance runs out - with Bell. Bell were willing to insure my car with a roll cage though so i guess that isn't too bad. Not covered for track days or anything though!

I have competition car insurance with Richard Egger, still doesnt insure me on a stage or track though. Just road mileage. Insurance stops as soon as you are "on a road for competition"
However from me they required proof of MSA club membership and MSA licence....

I'm sure I heard a rumour that Liverpool Victoria dont bump up your premium for modifications, they just want to know. Obviously I wouldnt have thought engine mods arent included.

Flux Direct has just been tipped off to me. Guess its a division of Adrian Flux? Mate's just had a quote of sub £500 for a fully caged Ginetta G40, he is 33 mind.

I'm with Flux, about £500 fully comp with all mods declared, 7500 limited mileage.
They tend to be pretty good, when my renewal came up i declared cams and they kept the premium the same.

Did you not declare the cams when they were done? or were they fitted during the time your renewal was up?

All the sister companies to Admiral and Admiral itself give me quotes with a roll cage and I'm fully insured with Bell for mine so you should be fine Ryan. Think I pay an extra 40 a year for the cage or something.

Why would you have a performance car as a daily when you have your car? Just an extra expense and has the potential for that car to spiral out of control too.
